Vallemont Surgical Associates is a solo practice of Dr. Edward Ridings, D.O. This practice is set in scenic Mifflin County in Central Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ridings is a very active general surgeon with extensive experience obtained from his private practice that has been located in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, since August, 1981.
Our office offers the ability for patients to receive local general surgical care and surgery through office procedures and through Lewistown Hospital. Dr. Ridings has been on staff at Lewistown Hospital since he came to Central Pennsylvania.
While on staff at Lewistown Hospital, Dr. Ridings has served in many capacities. Although he is primarily an active surgeon, he has also served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery for many years. He has also been on the Board of Trustees at the hospital in the past. Dr. Ridings has also served as the President of the Medical Staff.
Dr. Ridings is a current member of the Cancer Committee, Director of Medical Education, and is a member of the Credentials Committee at Lewistown Hospital. He is also currently the Chairman of the Department of Surgery.
Our staff at Vallemont Surgical Associates is available to help all patients that contact us. We feel strongly that the people that live in our area deserve to have the highest level of surgical care which is what we offer through our office and through Lewistown Hospital.

In our office we feel strongly that patients should be offered the opportunity to stay locally to receive their care. Lewistown Hospital is an excellent hospital offering the great majority of surgical and medical care that are required by most of the surrounding community.
